Hey everybody, this video is dropping publicly sometime this afternoon and I wanted to give you early access. And to explain some feelings … and yea, it’s a lot deeper than what’s in the video.

For starters, I almost didn’t release the video at all. It felt too … divisive. Even though I’m trying to make a point of moving towards instead of running away from. OK, maybe it’s a little of both, but it’s certainly not a “I Hate This Place” statement.

Here’s the thing … we needed to make a change. One was this, moving to Spain. (And I’ll explain how in just a bit). The other was finding some land, probably out west, and building a homestead with the bus as a centerpoint. And I was seriously undecided. Still am to a degree. I can see the benefits of each.

But one felt like settling and the other moving at our usual wonderful pace, and that settled that.

We love Spain. I mean … WE LOVE SPAIN! It’s in our blood, in our hearts. We’re not sure where in Spain yet, but we both feel great about this decision. So when I say we are moving towards something grand, I really mean it.

And yea, there is truthfully a bit of “it’s time to be away for a bit”. I actually filmed some of that background for you yesterday and was debating if I should release it or just try to type it out here. (The clock ticks endlessly)

Hmmm, ok, it’s decided. (And yea, that was a very long pause on my end. LOL!) I’ll put the video together today and let it fly tonight. It explains more than I think written words can share.

OK, the part I mentioned earlier. The moving. In a few weeks we’ll be flying out to Spain, but only for three months. It’s the maximum we can stay as “tourists”, which is all we are now. Then we come back, hop in the bus for a bit while paperwork continues, and when we get the go-ahead for permanent residency we fly back. More or less permanently.

Or as permanent as we ever get. LOL!

I know I’ve spoken of this here before, but the time is getting closer and … OK, I need to let you in on the inner workings. Here are the facts:

• We don’t have tickets yet. So no exact date is on the calendar.

• We don’t know where we’re going. Yes, this is weeks away and we have yet to pick a city.

• But we know that somewhere on or around March 11th we’re going … somewhere.

So yea, we’re moving forward and in new directions. It’s all a part of this journey of life we’re on. Staying true to our unconventional roots. Wish us luck. LOL!
