I just found this image in a shared folder. Nikki took it somewhere between Portugal and Spain as we were walking the Camino de Santiago, but I have no memory of that place. The whole month we spent walking was such a blur.

In fact, the whole past three years have been a blur as well. I was looking back at membership videos from the end of Baja last night and that just seems like a lifetime ago. Then again, part of it feels as fresh as yesterday.

This is our last day in Tirana Albania, for tomorrow we board a bus a little south to a town called Berat. (Assuming we can find the bus station). And again, it feels like we’re moving so fast sometimes that we aren’t keeping memories. But I know we are.

Our two weeks here have been a wonderful decompress. We had been moving a little too quickly lately and setting down for a couple of weeks was just the ticket. Berat will be a little shorter (1 week) and the town after that (Sarande) will also be just a week. And then … you know, I just realized that we’re breaking our new rule LOL! … we have three days in Greece, a week in Hungary, and then onward to Turkey (where we’re going to slow down again, perhaps for a full month).

All of this is to say that I wouldn’t change a thing. Slow, fast, it doesn’t matter. I have had so many wonderful experiences. Met so many wonderful people. Deciding to embrace this new life was the best decision I ever made.

Now, having said that, it has not been without its downsides. Money being one. I’m working on a video about that very topic because … well, because. Everything is changing now because of money. And as you saw in the last video, our whirlwind way of life has also affected basic things like health, and that needs to stabilize as well.

Rest assured, we aren’t stopping this lifestyle. In fact, we just going to make it stronger. I’m looking back at the past three years as training wheels. And I feel ready to take them off and pedal into the future.

Thank you to everyone for joining and supporting us, it means the world.
