So I decided that I don’t know everything. Seriously!

Take for instance the fact that I’ve been on YouTube for five years and have amassed 10x less subscribers than your grandma who posts blurry clips of her salt and pepper shaker collection.

I needed help. Enter Paul.

Paul is a YouTube Coach. An actor, teacher, artist. I also don’t know if he is cool with being on this page so I asked AI to make him look like he doesn’t really exist in three dimensions.

I’ve been at this YouTube coaching thing for maybe … two weeks now? The way it works (and I struggle with this) is we exchange videos. I’ll record something and tomorrow he’ll respond. Lather, rinse, repeat. And of course to my impatient ADHD brain, that is not nearly close enough to instant gratification. But it’s what we got.

Basically we’re working on everything. Packaging (thumbnails, titles, all of that good YouTube BS). But mostly, how I interact with you. YouTube creates connections by figuring out what you’re interested in and then finds creators and videos that feed that need. Well, in order to get before you, I also have to understand who you are so I can make content that resonates.

And I haven’t been doing that very well.

So yea, we’re making changes. What changes? I don’t know yet, it’s only been a couple of weeks. LOL! But I do feel hopeful that great things are going to come out of this.

In a perfect world (meaning you get to remote control me), what would you like to see more of both here and on the YouTube channel?
