NOMADS ACADEMY!

I live full-time in a converted school bus. A skoolie that we lovingly call The Huckleberry. When I’m not in it, I’m slow traveling the world.

Being a nomad is obviously in my blood.

On YouTube I create videos showing the life. On Patreon I share behind the scenes and exclusive content, again showing the life. But what about the educational side of things? The “how-to”, “why-do”, and “never do this” kinds of information?

That’s where Nomads Academy comes in. And like my normal videos, it comes in two parts. Also on YouTube I create videos and talk about the issues, problems, resolutions, and the philosophy behind living an unconventional, nomadic life.

And (you’ll see the link below) here on Patreon I post the supporting articles, videos, and even the actual podcasts for your consumption pleasure.

I’m continually trying to build the academy and my goal is to help as many people as I can find their own little slice of nomadic goodness, whatever that means for them.

NAVIGATING PATREON

The Collections tab allows you to dive into specific areas instead of the usual stream of posts.

• The Nomads Academy collection contains all of the articles and videos on how to be a better nomad (that whole blurb above).

• The FREE STUFF! collection is just that, books, pdfs, and other goodies that I give away for free. I’m always adding to it, so check back often.

• And finally, the WORDS OF WISDOM collection contains copies of all the articles, videos, and whatnot that get published elsewhere.

The Chat tab contains various “chats” as the name implies. You can comment and yak with others on individual posts, on in general here.

The other tabs like Membership (which allow you to upgrade and become a paying member), About (which gives you the pitch to join, which you’ve already done), and Recommendations (which are other Patreon creators that I recommend) are also available.
